This paper presents the results of the first archaeobotanical investigation of NeolithicChalcolitich-period sites in eastern Ukraine and southwest Russia.The goal of this research is to Stress Support understand the timeline of the earliest appearance and possible geographical origins of domesticated plants species in the region of study.The research conducted consists of the retrieval and study of macrobotanical Co-Enzyme Q-10 with Carnitine remains and the analysis of plant impressions in pottery.

Three possible corridors of influence upon agriculture in eastern Ukraine are postulated in this paper, originating from the Balkans, the Caucasus, and the Eurasian steppe.
